Our caregivers are trained in pet first aid and CPR, and we maintain a close relationship with local veterinary clinics for immediate assistance if needed. We also conduct thorough background checks on all our caregivers and provide ongoing training to ensure they are equipped to handle any situation. Additionally, we use secure leashes and harnesses during walks, and we carefully monitor your pets during playtime to prevent any accidents. Rest assured, we take every precaution to ensure your pets are safe and comfortable while in our care.
What happens in case of an emergency?
In case of an emergency, your pet’s safety and well-being are our top priorities. Our caregivers are trained to handle a variety of emergency situations and will follow the protocols outlined in our emergency response plan. This may include contacting you or your designated emergency contact, transporting your pet to the nearest veterinary clinic, and providing any necessary medical treatment as directed by a veterinarian. How far in advance do I need to book services?
To ensure availability, we recommend booking our pet-sitting services as far in advance as possible, especially during peak times like holidays. For our regular services, we suggest booking at least a week ahead. Advance booking allows us to plan our schedules effectively, ensuring your pet(s) receive the best possible care. If something comes up last minute, you can reach out to us and we can work something out to make sure your pets are taken care of.
Can you administer medications?
Yes, we can administer medications to your pets as needed. If your pet requires medication during our care, please provide detailed instructions and inform us of any special considerations or allergies.
How often will you communicate with me about my pet's well-being?
Communication is our number one priority. We understand the importance of staying informed about your pet’s well-being. Throughout our services, we aim to keep you updated by sending regular messages, photos, videos, and an overall summary of your pet’s behavior. Our goal is to ensure you have peace of mind while you’re away, knowing that your pet is well cared for and connected with you.
What is your cancellation policy?
To avoid charges, we require at least 24 hours in advance for Professional Dog Walks or Drop-In Pet Sitting visits. For Overnight Pet Sitting, Sunset & Sunrise Care, and Personalized In-Home Pet Care, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled Professional Dog Walk or Drop-In Pet Sitting service, and less than 48 hours before an Overnight Pet Sitting, Sunset & Sunrise Care, or Personalized In-Home Pet Care service, will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
Are there any additional fees for holidays or last-minute bookings?
Yes, we do have additional fees for holidays and last-minute bookings. We earn an additional $10 holiday fee per service. Additionally, last-minute bookings, defined as requests made within 24 hours of the desired service time, will incur an additional $10 fee per service.
Do you require proof of vaccinations for pets in your care?
Yes, we require proof of vaccinations for all pets in our care to ensure the health and safety of our clients, their pets, and our caregivers. The major vaccinations required by the state include rabies, distemper, and parvovirus.
Do you offer services for special needs pets?
If you have a special needs pet, please contact us to discuss their requirements and see if we can accommodate their needs. We understand that every pet is unique and may require special attention and care, and we’ll do our best to provide the necessary accommodations for your furry friend.
Do you offer a meet and greet before booking services?
Yes! Once we contact you and determine that our services will meet your needs, we will set up an account for you and schedule a Meet and Greet. During this 30-minute session, which costs $35, we will discuss your pet’s requirements in more detail, address any concerns you may have about our policies, and have the opportunity to meet your beloved animal companions. How thrilling!
How do I schedule services?
Once your account is created, you can access our fantastic booking app, TIME TO PET. By logging in from your mobile app or website profile, you can smoothly request the needed dates. Once approved, you will get confirmation, and we will reach out shortly!
